Bebop and Beyond, a renowned classical repertory jazz group, is committed to working with the best jazz composers and performers. The group was founded in San Francisco Bay Area by Mel Martin, a reed player and composer/arranger. They have been recognized for their innovative performances and high-quality recordings of new arrangements of classic Bop compositions by Thelonious monk, Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker. Members of the group also produce original, forward-looking arrangements.
