Ben Paterson (piano)

Ben is originally from Philadelphia and studied jazz and classical music in his youth before moving to Chicago. He spent many years there performing with and learning from the best musicians, and he also absorbed the unique mix of Jazz and Blues only found in Chicago. Neben regular club dates in the city, Ben also performed with Von at the Chicago Jazz Fest and Symphony Center, Millenium Park and The Jazz Showcase. Ben, who performs under his own name, has performed at the Chicago Jazz Festival both solo and with his Organ Quartet. He also led his own bands at dozens venues, including Smalls Jazz Club, Kitano Jazz and the Zinc Bar in NYC. In Chicago, he headlined performances at Andy’s Jazz Clubs and the Green Mill.
