Blue Sun, a hippie group that was founded in Copenhagen in 1969, had their roots in avantgarde jazz-rock. Their works are mostly recorded live, mostly improvisations that include saxophone, organ and guitar. Music is mostly instrumental with some South African influences. They were very popular among young people at the time, and had strong spiritual power live. The 1973 album features a similar sound but is a little more tranquil with lead sax and vocals.
