Robert Martin Enevoldsen, also known as Bob, was a West Coast jazz tenor and valve trombonist, born in Billings (Montana) on September 20, 1920. He died in Woodland Hills, California, 19 November 2005. Marty Paich is probably his most well-known work. Art Pepper, Shorty Rogers and Shelley Manne were also sessions he did. It’s not known that Enevoldsen was an accomplished arranger. He did the majority of the arranging work on Steve Allen’s Westinghouse show in early 1960’s.
