Bob Gullotti

Born in 1949, American jazz drummer. He died January 25, 2020 at discogs. A Boston legend, Gullotti was a drummer, educator and cofounder of The Fringe. Gullotti was the drummer of the Fringe, an innovative trio of free-jazz musicians that he cofounded back in 1972. With a long history of residencies in many clubs, the Fringe quickly established itself as a major act on Boston’s scene. He also headed the Bob Gullotti Project. Gullotti toured with Joe Lovano and J.J. Johnson. He was also known for his sit-ins and collaboration with Trey Anastasio in Phish’s project Surrender To the Air. from https://jazztimes.com
