Bob Sneider

Sneider was a tour leader for many years before joining the Eastman School of Music faculty. He has also toured with Chuck Mangione, a two-time Grammy Award Winner. Sneider has also performed, toured, or recorded with Joe Locke and Don Menza, Nnenna Freedomlon, Steve Gadd and Gerry Niewood. He also appears with Roy McCurdy (guitar/banjo), Jon Faddis, Keeter Bets, and frequently with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Pops (guitar/banjo). Sneider has appeared at major festivals, concert halls, and jazz clubs across South America, Central America and North America. Sneider graduated from the University of Rochester, where he studied under Ramon Ricker and Bill Dobbins. Sneider grew up in Brockton MA where he was mentored and taught by Chet Kruley, a veteran of Nat Pierce and Fletcher Henderson bands. Sneider is the co-leader of several solo and co-led CD projects, which have received praise and international airplay. from
