Boomerang – The Boomerang Jazz Band (or: Jazz Ensemble Boomerang) as it appears in Cyrillic on the covers. The Boomerang was led by Tahir Ibragimov, a Kazakh (then in the USSR). They created a jazz fusion that was highly original, incorporating a mixture of Asian, Caucasian and Oriental folk/cultural roots. This gave rise to an unique sound. From discogs
