Borne, a spanish band hailing from Barcelona, was a Spanish-inspired instrumental fusion style that incorporated flamenco and Spanish influences. They were musically closely related to Guadalquivir, Iceberg, Cai, Guadalquivir, and Iceberg. Borne was known for its fluid keyboards that envelop the music in a cool, late-evening atmosphere. In 1979, they recorded an instrumental prog-rock-fussion album called “Exprime la Naranja”. In 1982, they released a second album entitled “Unidades didacticas”, which was more pop-oriented.
