Brian Kellock, a Scottish jazz pianist was born in 1962. Brian was born in Edinburgh and graduated from Edinburgh University with a Bachelor of Arts. In 1986, Brian graduated from Edinburgh University with a B. Music (Hons). He has worked with Sheila Jordan and Bill Watrous as well as Stanley Turrentine, Stanley Turrentine, Stanley Turrentine, Stanley Turrentine, Herb Geller, Red Rodney, Red Rodney, Charlie Rouse and Charlie Rouse to establish his reputation as a top pianist in the UK jazz scene. Brian was a member the Australian trumpeter James Morrison’s Band, which toured all over Europe and Australia. It also recorded a live album at Warner Bros. Records’ New Morning Club in Paris. His main project is his Trio. It was originally formed as the rhythm section of the seminal Scottish band John Rae Collective in 1988. Since then, this line-up has performed together, with Kenny Ellis playing bass and John Rae drumming. The band finally released their first album together in 1998 – Something’s Gotta Give – which featured a collection of standards that Fred Astaire had popularized. From Wikipedia
