Brian Patneaude

Brian Patneaude, a frequent Metroland magazine “Best Jazz” award winner, is one of New York’s busiest musicians. The saxophonist is also a leader of his own quartet and performs regularly with the Empire Jazz Orchestra, Big Soul Ensemble (17-piece juggernaut), and the hard-bop Quintet Bopitude (drummer Michael Benedict). He has been a performer at the Montreal Jazz Festival as well as the Kingston International Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival Saratoga and the Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival. He has played with the saxophonists Jimmy Heath and Lee Konitz over the years.
