BRIDGES, a nordic jazz project, has a clear vision. It aims to create a unique expression by building musical bridges between Norway (and other parts of the globe). These musical bridges will allow different jazz worlds to come together, allowing them to discover similarities and creating a new musical expression. These musical bridges will allow for the linking of different jazz worlds together, and eventually lead to a unique musical expression. Seamus Blake, a New York-based tenor saxophonist, is featured on this debut album. He was awarded the Thelonious Monk Prize, and is considered THE saxophonist in his generation.
