Broken Shadows is a group of four jazz legends from the United States: Tim Berne (Chris Speed), Reid Anderson, Dave King, and Reid Anderson. Broken Shadows is a strong group with many connections. Chris Speed and Tim Berne, saxophonists, have been playing together in Broken Shadows since 1992. Reid Anderson, bassist, and Dave King, drummer, are two-thirds of The Bad Plus, and they share a deep love for the music and the mentors Ornette and Dewey Redman. “Most of the songs have melodies.
