In 2001, Baggiani and Celano met in Amsterdam. They instantly struck up a musical connection and were soon on the rails for a long-term collaboration. Figuras was their debut CD, featuring Natalio Sued on the tenor sax and Rodrigo Reijers as bass. It was released by BAU Records in 2005. The band moved to a new lineup in 2005 with Michael Moore on reeds, and Sven Schuster on double bass. Simple Songs (2006) MDR Records is the first album with the new lineup. It’s also the second in the band’s history. The name reflects the music’s simplicity, clarity and directness. They organized a tour of Argentina and The Netherlands to support the release. Their third album, Nothing Changes (2008), was released on the Dutch label Trytone. The band now includes Michael Moore and Sven Schuster, along with Gorka Benitez, a Spanish tenor. This CD is more complex than the last one and has a richer sound. The band organizes a tour of Spain and the Netherlands to present the CD.
