Carlo De Rosa moved to New York City in 1999 and has been fortunate to have the chance to work with many outstanding artists from the Latin and Jazz worlds. This has given Carlo the opportunity to have many musical and cultural experiences. Vijay Iyer and Rudresh Mahanthappa are some of his collaborators. He also performs with Amir ElSaffar and Arturo O’Farrill. Carlo De Rosa is a talented, creative and highly sought-after bassist. In 1999, Carlo De Rosa was appointed US Jazz Ambassador and he traveled to South Africa and Mauritius, Madagascar and Kenya to give master classes. He has also performed abroad in countries like France, Germany and Spain, Portugal. Estonia, Russia. Switzerland. Italy. Austria. Holland. Belgium. Czech Republic. Argentina. Chile. Slovenia.
