Cave, Warhammer 48K’s Chicago-based side project, debuted with the percussive space rock of the instrumental EP Hunt Like Devil (Permanent Records 2008). Hunt Like Devil is a ten minute long looped guitar riff that draws inspiration from the 1970s hard-rock jams. It also features a motorik rhythm a la Neu and a xylophone melody which could have been taken from Frank Zappa’s operetta. Finally, the repetition leads to a powerful space guitar solo. From discogs
