Chefa Alonso plays small percussion and the soprano alto saxophone. She has performed with these instruments at international festivals of free jazz in Germany, Rumania and other countries such as France, Spain, England, Belgium, France, Spain, France, Belgium and Spain. She is also an instructor of improvisation and manages improvisers’ orchestras. She has composed music to more than a dozen pieces of theatre, dance, and video. She maintains three stable groups: Sin Red (a poetry and improvised musical quartet), with which she released Sin Red and Aguacero; Uz (a trio of jazz wind instruments) with which she published Tres tubos. A duo with Albert Kaul, a pianist and clavichordist, from Marburg, Germany. She graduated from Brunel University in London, 2007, and is a doctor of free improvisation and composition.
