Chris Flory, a great swing-based guitarist, first started his professional career in Providence, RI in 1974. Flory is a long-standing associate of Scott Hamilton, whom he played his first gig with in 1976. He has also worked with Benny Goodman (1979-1985), Roy Eldridge and Ruby Braff. Flory also toured China with Judy Carmichael in 1992. He has been a regular player with Hamilton and led two sessions on Concord records. from http://www.allmusic.com
