Chromosomos, a Polish group, has many influences. They include Balkan and Near Eastern folk music and klezmer. Eastern European new music and the funk Jazz Fusion of M-Base. You can get the idea if you add a little electric Ornette Coleman. This project is very heavy on the guitar solo. However, it avoids falling into the trap of Jazz-rock Fusion due to its clever compositions and folk influences.
