CLAUDIA was raised in southern Germany. She began playing the piano at the age of 8. However, she soon realized that she prefers to play with other instruments. At the age of 13, she plays in her first jazz band. Many bands follow her lead with different styles: Salsa and Big Band, Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blues Blue Jazz Fusion Musical Classic und Jazz. She enters the 2008 competition “Jugend Jazzt”, and takes home the third prize in category “Trio”. She moves to Lucerne (CH), to study Jazz Piano in autumn 2009. In 2013, she finishes her Bachelor’s degree and in 2015, her Master’s degree in Jazz Piano and Music Pedagogy. She meets composition at the music university of Lucerne and quickly realizes that her natural way of arranging and composing is unforced. Claudia is fascinated by big band music and creates her own big band to perform her final Master’s concert. She found the band FOURSCAPE in Lucerne (Jazz Groove, Pop), which has toured throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Croatia. She has been studying jazz composition and arranging at Graz (AT), with Ed Partyka, Michael Abene, since autumn 2015. Claudia released her first CD with a big band in early 2018. She is a seasoned musician. Claudia is also involved in many projects, including Pop, Rock, and Reggae. The latest is ELiNOR, a Graz-based group that plays pink, feel-good jazz with five passionate composers/musicians. Claudia wants to inspire people with her music, either physically or emotionally.
