Cody Carpenter

Cody Carpenter is third-generation musician. John Carpenter is his father and he is a composer and director. Adrienne Barbeau is his mother and a star on television, film and Broadway. Howard Carpenter, his grandfather, was a founding member the Nashville Strings. Cody was three years old when he was first introduced to a musical instrument. Since then, Cody has been writing and playing original music. Cigarette Burns, Pro-Life and the Masters of Horror (2006) movie series are two of his most prominent compositions. Cody was a part of the 2018 Halloween reboot with Daniel Davies and his father. Cody wrote, co-produced and performed on the critically acclaimed Lost Themes (2015), Lost Themes II (2016) films with Daniel Davies and his father. Cody, his father, and a six-piece band, toured North America, Europe, and Asia from 2016-2018. They performed material from Lost Themes albums as well as his father’s films. Bandcamp was the exclusive home to Cody’s five albums of instrumental progressive rock and one synthwave vocal. Cody Carpenter’s interdependence was Cody’s first album that Cody released outside of Bandcamp. It featured a number of guest musicians, including Jimmy Haslip and Virgil Donati. Shadow Spirits Vol. was released by Cody and Mark Day in the spring 2018. 1 is a chiptune videogame soundtrack that was never made.
