Pontus Engborg, Richard Hauer, Dan Linden had been friends for years and had played together before Confusion was created in 2007. The band was formed after they met Martin Olsson, bassist. The band’s initial focus was on creating and performing original material in the fusion style, which has so far produced two albums. The band started to get more commercial assignments, including gigs with pop, rock, soul and jazz artists. When the band performs their own music, Confusion is added to the Quartet’s name. 2008’s “Confusion” album was released. 2011 saw the release of “Danger Zone”, a sequel. The band’s philosophy is to create and play whatever music they like without any limitations.
