Congo Bongo, an exotica electronica dubwise performance and recording small mobile unit that John Sanders manages, is an ongoing project. Some of these recordings also feature Nate Vinson and Tony Gonzalez, percussionist. The late 90s saw Congo Bongo (Sanders on drum machines and Vinson on keyboards) perform live in San Francisco at various bars and lounges, including The Orbit Room and Hamburger Marys.
