COOL SPRING started as an improvisation. It was then re-composed in a mixing studio and performed again in response. It’s the same, but not the same. Wostheinrich and Rothenberg started in Cold Spring, New York. They brought together their diverse backgrounds. Rothenberg performs live alongside birds, whales, bugs, in order to draw inspiration directly from the natural world. Wostheinrich is a progressive rock musician who has years of experience in creating undulating patterns using sequencers and synthesizers. Nicholas was a well-known punk bass player as well as a hip hop engineer. All of these influences can be heard in the COOL SPRING Project. from www.broadwayworld.com
