Cortex is a Norwegian band that plays energetic jazz of the highest quality. They are one of the most prominent additions to the Norwegian jazz scene with over 50 live performances and two studio albums. They are one of the most highly sought-after young jazz musicians in Norway today, having their formal backgrounds from Trondheim and Stavanger’s Jazz departments. All of them have been part of other constellations like: Bushman’s Revolt, Puma and Team Hegdal; Saka and Zanussi 5 Friends.
