Cow Bop

Cow Bop is a combination of swingin’ rhythms, thrilling riffs and sweet and hot vocals. It also has acoustic western sensibilities that makes it a lot more fun. Formed in 2003 by internationally-acclaimed guitarist Bruce Forman, this western bebop band has toured extensively throughout the country, exciting audiences with their unique brand of American music. Cow Bop won in 2004 the Route 66 Challenge. They traveled the entire length of the famous road with just $100 and had no scheduled gigs. Their 2004 CD Swingin’ out West was charted on Americana and Jazz radio stations. Cow Bop continued their journey along Route 66’s storied route in 2008 as a commeration to Route 66. Too Hick for the Room is their latest release and has already generated lots of excitement. It features swing herding, tune-wrangling, and mind-boggling genre-bending. Bruce is featured in Clint Eastwood’s Academy Award-winning film Million Dollar Baby and his latest release Hereafter. from
