Mark Murdock/Cymbalic Encounters started playing the drums in Phoenix, Arizona at an early age. He was a member of the local jazz-rock band, ‘Seacloud’. This band gained local recognition and was featured on a Phoenix radio KDKB-sponsored album. Mark’s British connections led him to Peter Banks who was the original guitarist of YES.
