Cyril Achard

Confusion is Cyril Achard, a French guitarist,’s debut solo album that is all instrumental. It was originally recorded in 1996. Now, it has been reissued with three bonus tracks (“Suspicious mind”, “Celebration”, and “Big Deal”. The CD’s music is brilliantly played by Achard, who weaves his sophisticated chops over progressive material. He is supported by Fred Schneider and Laurent Piacentino, drummer. This album’s success led to contact with Godin (guitars), and Peavey(amps). Confusion’s “Pharaon”, a track, was included in the progressive rock compilation album (Musea). This CD is a must-have, as well as his 2002 Taboo Voodoo album, “Something’s Cookin”. Cyril Acard CDs can be purchased at CD Baby, PayPlay and iTunes as well as Tower Records, Rhapsody, Buy.com, Tower Records and other major music retailers.
