Dale Williams was raised in Hyde Park on the south side Chicago. Williams also performed in Chicago with other well-known acts like Phil Coran (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians), the AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians), and the Pharaohs/aka Sky (just a few). Williams then toured the US along with Little Milton and Oscar Brown Jr., as well as Jean Carn and the Sun-Ra Arkestra. Williams eventually reached Los Angeles and began touring with Watt’s 103rd St. Band, Rebbie Jackson , Otis Day
