Downbeat Magazine has voted Dan Trudell “a rising star”. He has also recently toured in Italy with Matt Wilson’s “Arts and Crafts”, which features Terrell Stafford and Dennis Irwin. The B3 Bombers, Dan Trudell’s band, was on the main stage at the Chicago Jazz Festival 2007. Dan is the Chicago Jazz Orchestra’s piano player and has played with Kenny Burrell and Ron Carter as well as Buddy DeFranco and Kurt Elling. Dan’s piano style is often compared to Red Garland, McCoy Tyner and Ahmad Jamal. His organ style is heavily influenced by Lonnie Smith’s, Jimmy Smith’s, Don Patterson and Brother Jack McDuff.
