Daryl Davis is an internationally recognized recording artist, author, actor, and leader of THE DARYL DAVIS BOARD. DARYL was born in Chicago, Illinois, the Electric Blues Capital of the World. He absorbed the South’s influences from musicians who traveled North from the Mississippi Delta to the Blues Mecca. He now resides in Maryland, which is just minutes from Washington DC. DARYL DAVIS received his Bachelor of Music degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. He was a member the world-famous and renowned Jazz Vocal Ensemble. DARYL is an extraordinary keyboardist and singer, as well as a guitarist, composer, and vocalist. DARYL worked with many artists, including Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley’s Jordanaires, Jerry Lee Lewis and The Platters.
