Martin Archer is a key figure in the Sheffield improv scene and has worked with many musicians. He continues to explore new combinations. After playing with Nick Robinson and Steve Dinsdale separately, he decided to create this trio with the intention of exploring a “motorik”. Steve’s unrelenting drumming (and occasionally keyboards) provided the basis for Nick’s guitar patterns / loops as well as Martin’s high-pitched woodwind.
