COMPOSER CONDUCTOR, PRODUCER GERMANY – BORN 24 November 1922, Escherbruck (Nordrhein-Westfalen) – DIE 26 January 1994, Bad Wiessee am Tegernsee. Bayern: Bergfriedhof Josef Niessen studied composition in Berlin and Cologne. He was a Bavarian radio conductor from 1945 to the 1960s. He was a freelance musician and conductor after that. In 1950 he wrote the music for the movie “Mitternachts-Venus”. He married Ilse Werner in 1954, but they divorced in 1966. He used the name Dave Daffodil from 1970 to his work as a producer.
