David Cook

David Cook, a pianist/composer based in New York City, is heavily involved in the New York Jazz scene and beyond. David was born to a musical family in Columbus, Ohio. He attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he studied under Ellen Rowe and Barton Polot. After moving to New York, he continued his education with Fred Hersch, Kenny Werner, and Bruce Barth. David has performed and/or directed music for many artists including Taylor Swift (7-time Grammy Award-winning), Natasha Bedingfield, Marianne Faithfull and Academy Award-winner Jennifer Hudson.
