David Gordon is a harpsichordist and jazz pianist, as well as composer. He studied math at Bristol University before deciding to pursue music full-time. Since then, he has toured the globe with various groups including Zum, the gypsy-tango group, The English Concert, The English Baroque Orchestra, David Gordon Trio, the piano-led jazz band David Gordon Trio, and Respectable Groove. He also has toured with Andrew Manze, violinist, and Jacqui Dankworth, singer. He has performed as soloist/director with the London Chamber Orchestra, and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. He is a self-taught jazz musician and appears on many CDs as a composer, leader, or sideman. His music can be heard on the radio in the UK as well as abroad.
