David Reinhardt

David Reinhardt was born in Longjumeau in 1986. He is the grand-son and great-grand-son of Django Reinhardt. Babik Reinhardt also raised him. It’s safe to assume that his talent will help in the transmission of the family legacy. This talented young musician is a gifted performer with a well-developed technique, lyricism and emotion. He also has a great sense of swing. He made his debut at the age of six years alongside his father on the stage of the Django d’Or “International Jazz Awards” at the Theatre Boulogne-Billancourt, 14 May 1993, both making one of the finest tributes to Django Reinhardt, the inventor of European jazz. David Reinhardt made his debut at the Festival Jazz in Juan-les-Pins in 1993. – Translated from the artist’s site
