De Phazz is a downtempo Jazz ensemble that combines modern turntablism with elements of Latin, soul, Latin and drum and bass to create a relaxing lounge music sound. Pit Baumgartner is the De Phazz’s producer from Germany. He has changed the artists for each album. Barbara Lahr and Karl Frierson are some of the regular members. De Phazz has been a prominent member of the jazz scene since the release of Detunized Gravity, Godsdog and The Cinematic Orchestra.
