Dean Brown

Dean Brown is a guitarist, composer, arranger, and producer. He is most well-known for his dynamic, soulful and creative live performances. Dean Brown has been a part of the international fusion and contemporary jazz scene for close to 30 years. He recorded and/or toured worldwide with musicians such as Bill Evans, Marcus Miller and Victor Bailey. Brown’s guitar playing can be heard on more than 100 albums, as well as four Grammy(r), Award winners. There are many records that Brown can be heard on, including “Return of the Brecker Brothers”, “Out Of The Loop”, Marcus Millers’ “The Sun Don’t Lie”, Billy Cobhams’ “Warning”, Joe Zawinuls’ “Faces and Places”, and “Out Of The Loop”. He has performed on Live DVD’s, with Marcus Miller and Gil Evans, David Sanborn, Gil Evans, David Sanborn, Friends, Louie Belson and Bob James, as well as Steve Smith’s Vital Information. Dean has released three solo CDs. The first CD, “Here”, was his debut album. It features jazz legends Michael Brecker and Marcus Miller, David Sanborn and Billy Cobham. His third CD, “DBIII-Live At the Cotton Club Tokyo”, (2009) features an all star power trio featuring musical legends Dennis Chambers u0026 Will Lee.
