Denia Ridley was born in Panama, and raised in the USA. She has been singing professionally for more than twenty years. In the late 80’s, she began her singing career with a funk band from Austin, Texas. She attended university there. The group signed with Alpha International Records, and they toured the US. She was already performing in a popular jazz/jump band by the mid-1990s. Denia’s love for straight-ahead jazz and bebop standards was discovered in 2000. Linkin
