I am a musician and music researcher. I am currently conducting a 3-year research program on the aesthetics and phenomenology of musical expression. A 2-year artistic research project is being conducted on emotional improvisation (interpersonal, intermedial, and intermedial), both funded by Austrian Science Fund. Currently writing a monograph on the idea(s) of musical expression, and another on Alexander Scriabin’s musical aesthetics.Forthcoming is a chapter in Andy Hamilton and Max Paddison (eds.)
