Doug Webb was born and raised in Chicago. He moved to California when he was 3. He graduated from Edison High School in Huntington Beach, CA. He also received a Bachelor of Music degree from Boston’s Berklee College of Music. At the age of 8, he began playing clarinet and added the saxophone at 15. His beautiful wife Alex, Ryan and their son Ryan live in Los Angeles. Webb has recorded and played with many notable artists over his career, including Freddie Hubbard and Sal Marquez, Stanley Clarke and Mat Marucci. Webb was part of the Jimmy Cleveland Orchestra, the house band on the Dennis Miller TV series. He continues to tour with Doc Severinsen’s big band. He has recorded music for many movies and TV programs. He is featured on the sound track of Million Dollar Baby and Mystic River. Webb has been on hundreds of recordings. http://www.dougwebb.us/
