Eco-music Big Band

The Eco-Music Big Band, a professional big band of 15 musicians, includes many of the country’s most acclaimed jazz musicians. Our lineup includes David Taylor, bass trombonist (Gil Evans and New York Philharmonic), Jay Rodriguez, saxophonist (Ornette Coleman and Craig Harris), Earl McIntyre, bass trombonist (Mel Lewis, Thad Smith), Zack O’Farrill, Adam O’Farrill (Arturo O’Farrill), Randy Weston. Founded by Fred Ho before his death in 2014, the Eco-Music Big Band is now led by Marie Incontrera, his final composition/bandleading protege. The Eco-Music Big Band has been praised as “talented…inspirational” by The Vermont Standard. It is dedicated to presenting music from the great jazz composers of 20th-century Jazz, as well as continuing its legacy as a prodigious composer (such as Cal Massey).
