Jazz bassist Eddie Cole (older brother to jazz legend Nat “King”) moved to Los Angeles in the second half 1950s. He later formed a piano/vocal duet, the Two Hot Coles, with his wife Betty King. They were among the first artists to be signed to Warner Bros.’ fledgling label at the close of the 1950s. Allmusic
