Elliott Fisher

Electronic music was first discovered in the 1960s. The Moog synthesizer would be very popular in the 60s. This is a man who created that kind of space-age music using a violin. Elliott Fisher was an arranger and session musician. He recorded an album with secret agent themes in 1966. Fisher hails from Philadelphia. For the first half of his career, he was a concert violinist. He was also a Denver University professor of music and the leader of the Busch Chamber Orchestra. His career was thrown off course when Paul Sawtell, a film composer, asked Fisher to create the spooky sounds that were used in Kronos’ 1957 alien robot movie. This was long before the invention of the moog synthesizer. These sounds were created by Fisher using his violin. He was a popular choice for creating spooky sounds that could be used in movies or TV. Fisher was also a violinist on recordings sessions. Capitol Records hired Fisher, a musician who was well-known for his James Bond theme songs, to record an album. However, Our Man Flint is also included on the album. The album’s selling point was Fisher’s unique sound. It was the first album Fisher recorded for Capitol. Bang! Bang! Bang!. It has never been available on CD. Capitol has made some recordings of Fisher’s on the Ultra-Lounge series. It is worth checking out if you are interested in exotica. Fisher also recorded another album. Fisher recorded one more album, but when electronic keyboards started making strange noises, Fisher realized that his techniques were no longer relevant. He returned to playing the violin during sessions. from https://egrojworld.blogspot.com
