Elzadie Robinson

Elzadie Robinson, a 1920s blues singer, hails from Shreveport in Louisiana. She later moved to Chicago after recording. She recorded between 1926 and 1929. During that time, she collaborated with many pianists, including Bob Call and Will Ezell, her regular accompanist from Shreveport. Elzadie Robinson recorded primarily for Paramount, but she also made several sides for Broadway under Bernice Drake’s alias. Allmusic
