Ernesto Cervini

Cervini was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1982. He studied clarinet and classical piano before turning his attention to the drum kit. Cervini graduated from Canada’s Royal Conservatory of Music with a performance degree in classical piano and clarinet. He was featured as the piano soloist in Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and performed numerous shows as a jazz pianist, including a tribute show to Benny Goodman. After graduating from the University of Toronto, Cervini earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees. This was during a life-changing trip to New York City. He has performed as a drummer at the legendary clubs Birdland, Sweet Rhythm and the Jazz Standard in New York City.
