Born 29 January 1948 in Asker (Norway), Espen Rud is a Norwegian jazz musician (drums), composer and music arranger. He is the son of Nils Johan Rud (1908-1993). His recordings include many collaborations with Karin Krog, Dexter Gordon, and Terje Rypdal’s trio Min Bul. This is the absurd musical theatre of Svein Finnerud Trio. From www.bbc.co.uk
