Excess Luggage

The unusual Hammond B3 organ, piano, and drums are the basis of this Norwegian trio. The sound of these instruments was fascinating to us all, and we were disappointed that this combination was not more commonly found. This trio is able to combine the rhythmic and melodic sounds of the organtrio with those of the piano trio. This could make you wonder why it hasn’t been used more often. We soon discovered the reason: Excess luggage! Music is built on strong melodies, lots of energy, and a well-developed interplay between musicians who have been friends for years. This trio has created original songs and used arrangements from well-known standards to create the tunes. Vigleik Storaas is one of the most prominent Norwegian pianists.
