FAT SPARROW is a group of five musicians who have a sonic palette that is both wide and deep. In the summer of 2015, FAT SPARROW recorded their debut album. They converted a den into a studio. This was the same space that used to house products for a Perth small goods company in the 60s. Fat Sparrow’s music is energetic, detailed and imaginative. Fearlessly exploring the many aesthetics, musical styles, and identities within their compositions, Fat Sparrow brings truth and power to the moment, and ultimately, their representation of time and place.
