Florian Weber

Florian Weber, a pianist, was born in Detmold (Germany) in 1977 as the son of an opera singer and a music professor. He studied classical music in Detmold, and jazz in Cologne. He was 19 when he became a pianist with Germany’s National Jazz Orchestra. He was awarded a stipend to Boston’s Berklee College of Music in 1999. Florian Weber was appointed professor of Jazzpiano by the ‘Institut fur Musik der FH Osnabruck in June 2007. The following prizes were awarded to him: “Steinway
