Francois Cahen, a talented composer, was Magma’s first pianist. However, he went on to release many solo albums in addition to the highly-acclaimed Great Winds album released in 1979. Cahen continued his association with Yochko Seffer, releasing albums with Zao as well as later with Ethnic Duo.
